At IMS DIA , we not only train and educate students in the field of design but also make them live design. IMS DIA has been providing the industry with quality designers in the field of Fshion, communication and interior and this stands as a testament of the high standards and diversity of the student pool and versatility of the curriculum of IMS DIA.
IMS DIA makes an effort to create design professionals of excellence to help meet India’s diverse design needs. To train design trainers for other design and design-related institutions and positions in the 21st century as global leaders in Design Education and Research by recognizing the changes in economic and business environment nationally and globally. Ensuring the expansion in the number of quality design professionals and faculty, through existing and new institutional mechanisms, IMS DIA has given over 500 alumni and dedicated professionals to the industry of design.
This facilitates the association of students with the Alumni by promoting interaction and networking among alumni and students of the institute. It also contribute to the institute’s vision of creating leadership in Strategic Design and Communication and help students achieve their professional and societal goals and help them in their hour of need.
The mandate for IMS DIA is to offer world-class design education and to promote design awareness and application towards raising the quality of life by and through. DIA ensures a dedicated faculty from NID, NIFT, DELHI COLLEGE OF ART and industry practitioners.
The institution has made it a point to lay emphasis on learning and to pursue innovation led designs through the development of the mind and skills of designers. Our dedicated faculties motivate students to perform better and have given them an edge over other design professionals. IMS DIA also focuses on tie-ups with Multinational organizations and various other Indian and foreign Universities to assure better learning and performances of students.

DEVELOPMENT FOR STUDENTS
IMS DIA has a flexible framework for student-centered learning, whereby courses and assignments are able to harness the potential each student has in terms of creative expression and multi-dimensional learning. Each programs provides the opportunity to identify, plan and achieve learning goals through an understanding of cultural, social and technological developments in the context of historical, contemporary and individual concerns.
The objective, learning value and standard for each course are predetermined, but the context and relevance is re-positioned by the faculty depending on the changing realities of the design profession and the level of professional competence achieved and demonstrated by the each group of students.
