Introduction of the course:

 B.F.A (Painting) 4 years course is affiliated to CCS (Chaudhary Charan Singh) University.

The course encourages individual creativity while giving a solid grounding in the practical and the aesthetic. It provides an opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for progression to further or higher education in Fine Art or simply for further independent study. The course begins with a structured introduction to fine art and its fundamental used by an artist.

This course will introduce students to a wide range of drawing processes and materials, providing the opportunity to extend and deepen their understanding of the role of drawing in creative development.

Methods of Learning:

This course teaches foundation skills in the technical manipulation of paint, as well as in colour, structure, and content. The importance of direct visual observation and the creation of space and light illusion will be stressed. The instructor will also show how the same procedures can be used for work of an abstract or wholly imaginative nature. Thorough demonstrations of the materials to be used in the course will be given, and paintings will be small so that one project can be completed in each class. Teaching and Learning happens through Gallery/ museum visits, lecture& demonstrations.

Course Content:

One-year Foundation course includes- Introduction of all the subjects offer under B.F.A

Such as painting, illustration, photography, sculpture and print making etc.

In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year- advance training of the chosen specialization subject with advance technical knowledge and market experience.

By experimenting with different media and techniques the students can excel their subject. The main emphasis of the course is to teach you hands-on studio arts techniques as you conduct personal research and explore your own creativity. While utilizing historical and contemporary art concepts, the course guides you through different time periods. By the conclusion of the course, you will compile a portfolio of artworks reflective of your research, understanding and creativity.

Subjects:  Still life, life study, landscape& Abstract Art, Black and White Portraiture Photography, Installation Art, and 3D& 2 D Art. Sculpture, composition, print making, murals, stained Glass painting, miniature paintings. Calligraphy, collage,
 Art Concepts explored: Line, Shape, Value, Texture, and Color.
 Art Mediums used: Graphite Pencils, Charcoal, Pastels, Ink, Watercolor, Acrylic Paint, Collage.oil paint and mix media.
